About Lucy Reilly

My name is Lucy Reilly and I’d like to introduce myself as your candidate for the upcoming local government election. Some residents will already know me as I have worked at Logan City Council for the past 10 years and served as Cr Koranski’s advisor up until her retirement. Over the years I have also held several volunteer community roles, supporting charities, schools, social clubs, sporting organisations and businesses in the area.

I have been out and about meeting residents to find out what is important to you. I have also asked residents what they would like from me as their area Councillor. Residents told me they need an active and engaged Councillor, committed to the whole Division – someone who listens to them, assists community organisations, supports local businesses, advocates for positive change and stands up when it matters.

In Logan, we have a community spirit second to none. I believe an important element of a healthy community is a sense of connectedness. I am proud to have lived within Division 4 for the past decade and have lent my support to a number of our local community groups over many years.

As your local area Councillor, I will be here to represent you with a strong voice in Council and I will be available to you.

I am proud of the community work I have been involved in and I know there is so much more to do. That’s why I am putting my name forward to represent our community as an independent Councillor for Division 4. I am currently door knocking across our electorate to introduce myself and find out what matters to you. If I miss you, you can email your thoughts to lucyreilly@division4.net or alternatively, I am happy to schedule a time for us to catch up for a chat. In the meanwhile, to find out more about me and what I stand for, follow me on facebook.

If I haven’t already, I look forward to meeting you soon!
